Five fencers represented their Swansea Fencing Club whilst they competed at the Welsh Closed Epee fencing competion today which was held at the Welsh Institute of Sport, Cardiff. Results were:
Lori Button (Women's Epee) 5th
Paul Rees 9th
Jack Blake 15th
Allistair Vowles 17th
Robert Collins 20th
It was the first "out of club" competition that Jack Blake and Allistair Vowles have competed at.

Welcome to the Swansea Fencing Club homepage. The club serves Swansea and the surrounding area with a friendly and safe environment in which to practice the fantastic modern sport of fencing.
Since the re-establishment of the club in 1957 by Wynford Seymour, it has grown in size to become one of the largest fencing clubs in Wales.
Foil, Epee and Sabre are fenced in the club by novice and experienced fencers. The club welcomes anyone to come along, young and old, male and female. All members are tutored by coaches with years of experience.
Swansea Fencing Club meets twice per week on a Monday and Thursday, 7pm to 9pm.
